More significantly, the agreement demonstrates our ongoing commitment to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers in Europe.”
Pantech’s new U4000 UMTS phone will definitely jump start this new partnership. It has video telephony, bot 1.3 megapixel and VGA cameras, Bluetooth, JAVA MIDP 2.0, DRM 1.0 and WAP 2.0 as well as 72 polyphonic ringtones inside.
This is a major deal for Korea’s third largest handset maker, who has also been contracted to provide phones to SFR and Bouygues Telecom, France’s other major carriers.
