I can’t put my finger on it, but this phone takes me back to my childhood. It had something to do with going where I wasn’t supposed to be and touching what I was warned not to touch. The enamel finish is beautiful. The casing is obviously of a soft and durable material that’s meant to be handled quite often. I also like how the keypad gets center stage on the overall aesthetics of the phone.
Too bad we won’t actually get our hands on it. This is a KDDI Design Studio concept and as a concept it probably will only get uglier the closer it gets to being distributed in the market.
