Though not exactly an IKEA design, this concept Sony Ericsson Walkman phone is the brain child of one Torbjörn Eriksson, who finished his Masters Degree in Industrial Design at the Ingvar Kamprad Design Center, IKDC, which is founded by IKEA.
It’s a really elegant design, and I love the ice-gray color best. I’m not sure about the keypad encircling the navigation pad. The individual keys are too wide apart. The phone is a health hazard for texters.
But I’m wondering. Why does every mobile manufacturer want their future models to look like Apple’s iPod?
