Verizon Lands “Huge” Motorola RAZR MAXX

motomaxx1maxx2Verizon will be offering this intriguing new RAZR. If you’re thinking the external display doesn’t really look like that after you buy it, think again. The surface is actually touch-sensitive so you can do some functions even while the phone is shut tight clam-style (see the terrific video review at shinyshiny.tv).

The phone is thicker than regular RAZR models, but there’s good reason for it. According to the totally cute gadget reviewer at shinyshiny.tv, the RAZR MAXX has HSDPA, which makes downloading really fast, describing it as a “broadband for mobile phones.” But don’t forget the other Wi-Fi niceties included in the RAZR MAXX like EDGE and UMTS. The Bluetooth 2.0 and 50MB of internal storage with a microSD slot added, makes it a complete music phone. From the picture(s), we can gather that the RAZR MAXX has a 2 megapixel camera with flash included. And flashes cap the features of RAZR MAXX. The phone glows a cosmic blue when user is receiving a call.

It’s out before the end of October, but we don’t know whether it’s the RAZR MAXX on the left or the one with the glass finish on the right.
