Sharp SH903iTV Cellphone-TV Hybrid

Sharp TV Cell We seem to be in a high-end mood right now and the Sharp SH903iTV we found on newlaunches.com looked like the perfect second serving for the day. The Japanese mobile provider Ntt DoCoMo announced the SH903iTV (no official nickname yet) yesterday, and it just looks so quintessentially Japanese and expensive that I just had to check out the DoCoMo product page for information about the price. I still don’t know how much it costs.

The 3-inch “wide” screen has 204×400 pixels and displays 256,000 colors. Slide the screen 90 degrees for a mini HDTV experience. I’m assuming there are select broadcasts in Japan that can be viewed on this phone. The “TV-Cellphone” also has a 2 megapixel camera and another low-resolution camera for conferencing. Most audio/video formats are supported and Sharp even threw in an FM transmitter, just because they could.
