Sprint has announced that it has joined up with (RED), the Global Fund and Motorola in the global fight against AIDS (the press release). (RED) , an organization founded by U2’s Bono and Bobby Shriver, aims to recruit iconic brands such as Motorola to help fight the global ravages of AIDS. In response, Motorola has come out with red MotoSLVR for the U.K. market and red MotoRAZR V3m for the U.S. market under the (PRODUCT) RED mark. Motorola will be committed for five years and will give an amount of the sales from (PRODUCT) RED licensed phones to the Global Fund to fight AIDS.
The joining of Sprint will definitely be a boost to the market availability of (PRODUCT) RED Motorola RAZR phones. Sprint and U.S. Cellular are the two partner carriers of RED MOTORAZR in North America. It’s such an attractive-looking model too… go to the Sprint RED MOTORAZR product page. RED products available in America also include Gap RED T-shirts and the Apple RED iPod Nano (really too obvious).
