Some sound experts believe that because cellphones have become a fifth limb for many, people now live in a constant state of phone vigilance, and hearing sounds that seem like a telephone’s ring can send an expectant brain into action.

Generally the apps work well and are easy on the eyes, even if they aren’t always incredibly flexible. Though, it’s the hardware where the Kickflip really shines. We freaking can’t stop flipping the thing open. It’s like tactile crack, and we have to put it away under some papers to free our hands and get any work done, instead of engaging in the idle addictive sensation of nudging the screen and flipping it open, then closing it again with that little click.

According to a Korean survey, nearly 11% of respondents said that they felt physical disorders due to cell phone usage. The most common symptoms being brief deafness and headaches. Others felt a sudden paroxysm of tiredness or couldn’t concentrate.

- Camera phones cause trouble in the classroom
a pupil at St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School in Newcastle was excluded from lessons after taking a photo of his teachers’ cleavage whilst she bent over. The teachers at the school are now threatening to strike because of concerns that he may have passed on the image onto classmates. He was also spotted adding a rude caption onto the image.
