Here’s a new messaging phone Rogers might be rolling out very soon, the LG Neon2 (GT350). We don’t have an exact release date yet, but Mobilesyrup confirms that the dummy models have arrived already which means it launch won’t be far behind.
As for its specs, the LG Neon2 sports a 3-inch WQVGA 240×400 resolution touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, a slide-out full QWERTY keypad complete with 5 hotkeys for one-click access to applications, 42MB internal memory expandable via microSD card up to 8GB, and will be available in 4 colored iterations. It doesn’t come with 3G or WiFi connectivity, but looks decent enough for students or those who just need a QWERTY phone minus all the bells and whistles.
It’s expected to retail for just $29.99 on a 3-yr contract making the LG Neon2 the ideal phone for those working on a limited budget. Outright purchase price, however, is yet to be known. For more info on this new LG handset, you can check it out at the LG Canada website.
