Sprint announces Samsung Intercept, Arriving on July 11 for $99.99 (2-yr contract)

Sprint has announced yet another Android phone to add to their ever growing line-up, the Samsung Intercept.

Samsung Intercept

The Samsung Intercept features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, EVDO rev. 0 connectivity, a 4-row slide-out QWERTY keypad, a microSD card slot for additional storage, and runs on Android 2.1. This new Samsung QWERTY slider isn’t by any means as impressive as Sprint’s more recent Android phone releases (HTC Evo 4G, Samsung Epic 4G), but still pretty decent in its own right.

The Samsung Intercept will be available through Sprint retail channels beginning July 11 for just $99 on a 2-year contract (excluding taxes) after a $100 mail-in rebate is applied. For the complete press release, you can check it out here.
