Alongside the announcement of Office 2010, Microsoft took the opportunity to reveal that Office Mobile 2010 is now also available.
The good news is that it's completely free to current Office Mobile users, but is limited to Windows Mobile 6.5 devices only. Given that Windows Phone 7 devices have yet to become available and most of the new Windows Mobile phones out now are already running on v6.5, this probably won’t be such a big deal. Some of the more noteworthy features Office Mobile 2010 comes with include SharePoint integration and a Bluetooth controller for PowerPoint presentations.
You can read the full press release here, but if you’d rather see it in a video, you can click here to watch Microsoft’s video presentation and fast forward to the 52:54 mark. The Office Mobile 2010 upgrade is now readily available for download at the Windows Marketplace.
