Here’s an update on the leaked Nokia N87 we posted about back in December of last year. BeGeek has just revealed some additional info on this purported Nokia handset, and apparently, its specs have gotten upgraded along the way.
Its previously reported 3.2-inch touchscreen is now a more sizable 3.7-inch AMOLED display though its camera still remains as a 12-megapixel shooter. Its listed ARM Cortex 8 600MHz processor likewise confirms what was leaked late last year as well as the 16GB internal memory with a 32GB option also available. Codenamed as the Nokia Vasco, its other specs include WiFi connectivity, FM radio and transmitter, A-GPS, HD video support, Carl Zeiss optics with Xenon flash, 256MB RAM, and a dedicated graphics chip.
Of course, given that they only have these drawings as evidence, like most of you, we’re taking this bit of news with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, we are hoping that Nokia is indeed working on a 12-megapixel camera phone, and if the previous report is true, might finally be unveiled at next week’s MWC event.
