The Sony Ericsson Kurara is now official. Well, sort of. A press release was posted online, but has unceremoniously been taken down already. We do know, however, that this new touchscreen phone from Sony Ericsson is now being called the Vivas.

This is the company’s second Symbian-based phone after the debut of the Sony Ericsson Satio. The Vivas comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 8.1-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 720p video recording, WiFi, Bluetooth, HSDPA connectivity, PowerVR graphics chip, and an ARM Cortex A8 processor running at the helm. The press release isn’t available anymore, but fortunately, its press photos still are.
Here’s a promotional video of the Sony Ericsson Vivas.
It will come in Cosmic Black, Silver Moon, Venus Ruby, and Galaxy Blue colored variations and should be released within the next couple of month. Price, however, is still unknown. More pictures can be found here.
