Apart from the iPhone, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is the other phone that’s available on Rogers, Bell, and Telus. However, unlike Apple’s mobile phone, there are no restrictions on the Bold 9700’s retail price that’s why its on-contract price has consistently gone down every month since its release.

In fact, it’s now retailing at an all-time low $199.95 on a 3-year contract with Bell. Both Rogers and Telus, meanwhile, have their Bold 9700 priced at $199.99 on the same contract term conditions. It was back in early November when Rogers first debuted the Bold 9700 in Canada selling it a penny short of $300 on a 3-year contract. They later lowered their pricing when Telus started offering theirs for just $249.99 with Bell not far behind. Prices on other contract terms, unfortunately, still remains the same despite the numerous times the 3-year contract price of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 on all 3 carriers has changed in this past two months.
Don’t you just love competition? We just wish we could say the same thing about the iPhone though, but hey, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 isn’t such a bad alternative.

Yeah, I grabbed a Bold from TELUS via Best Buy, and I got a $200 gift card with it too! Amazing deal! 6pm nights and weekends for all three years, no activation fee – brilliant!
Ended up getting myself a free iPod Nano. Really too bad that Apple’s got such restrictions on what promotions that retailers and dealers could do… The Bold was just way too good a deal!
