Here’s an update on the upcoming Nexus One phone courtesy of Gizmodo. We reported a while back the Google will be selling this Android touchscreen phone direct to consumers. This latest report supports that rumor, but in addition to that, we’ve now learned that they’ll actually be selling a T-Mobile powered version as well.

The image above is a screenshot of its landing page, but the more informative one is the screenshot below since it reveals the Nexus One’s retail price. The unlocked, unsubsidized Nexus One will cost $530. Getting it with a 2-year T-Mobile on a $79.99 monthly plan, meanwhile, will cost you just $180.
Here are some additional details for those of you who are seriously considering getting this Android phone when it comes out. Those already on T-Mobile cannot retain their current plan if they wish to avail of the subsidized Nexus One. Subscribers on a Family plan, Flexpay, SmartAccess, and KidConnect can only avail of the unlocked version of the Nexus One. Only five Nexus One phones will be sold per Google account. As far as the Gphone/Google Phone name is concerened, that’s been thrown in the trash bin since this phone will be released with its current name, the Nexus One.
We still don’t have an official date as to when they’ll actually open up their doors to interested buyers (January 5th is the rumored date), but you can check out google.com/phone ever now and then as this is reportedly the url they’ll be using to sell the Nexus One.
