No, we still don’t know when and where you can get the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Pureness locally, but if you want to get one in time for the holidays, you can now order it online via Saks Fifth Avenue for $990.
Yup, that’s right folks. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA Pureness is retailing for a whopping $990. Its specs hardly justify its steep price, but then again, this is one particular phone which Sony Ericsson seems quite content in marketing its form over functionality. If you decide to purchase the Pureness despite its ridiculous price tag, you can avail of its bundled 24 hour Pureness Concierge service which hooks you up for all your lifestyle need in various cities across the globe. You can read the full press release here.
For those not familiar with the XPERIA Pureness, it comes with a transparent monochromatic 1.8-inch TFT display, Bluetooth, FM radio, Exchange ActiveSync support, Access NetFront web browser, quad-band GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900MHz), UMTS/HSPA 2100MHz connectivity, and 88MB internal memory expandable via microSD card (up to 8GB). No WiFi, built-in camera or a touchscreen, but it does come with a concierge service which not many phones can boast of.
