Along with most Canadian out there looking for something a little different from what the big three (namely Rogers, Bell, and Telus) are offering, we’re pretty excited with the entry of Wind Mobile as the newest carrier in the country. Unfortunately, after getting the go signal to operate in Canada, we still don’t know when they’ll officially go live.

On the upside, however, we do have what could potential be Wind’s voice and data plan offerings for interested subscribers. The alleged plans below should give you another reason to really be excited about Wind Mobile:

VOICE PLANS

Chat ($15)

  • 100 Province-wide minutes
  • Unlimited WIND to WIND calling (Canada-wide)
  • Unlimited incoming SMS / 50 sent

Always Talk ($35)

  • Unlimited province-wide calling
  • Unlimited WIND to WIND calling
  • Unlimited incoming SMS / 50 sent

Always Shout ($45)

  • Unlimited Canada-wide calling
  • Unlimited SMS
  • Voicemail

DATA PLANS

Infinite Mobile ($35)
Unlimited data for phones (includes tethering)

Social BlackBerry ($10)
Unlimited instant messaging, Facebook and MySpace

Infinite BlackBerry ($35)
Unlimited data for BlackBerry

Infinite Laptop ($45)
Unlimited data for USB data sticks

ADD-ONS

Voice:10c Per Minute with the $15 plan
SMS:$0.10
MMS:$0.20
Voicemail:$5
Long Distance:$20
Unlimited calls to North America

This is courtesy of Windsider who posted the info over at HowardForums for everyone to enjoy.

They’re undeniably tempting, but before we get ahead of ourselves, we’d just like to remind you that Wind Mobile has yet to confirm whether these plans are legit or not. With that being said, we’d now like to pass the ball to you guys out there: would you sign-up with Wind Mobile if these were their official plan offerings?

Prices look good, but still higher than in the US. Remaining questions are : when this will be available (I’m from Montreal), what about the receiving calls, if they’ll charge fees for accessing the network, the kind of phone they’ll propose.
But definitly… if they arrive before march (end of my Fido’s contract), I’ll sign for the second one.
