The miniaturized twin of the Nokia N97 is now available in the US via Amazon. Announced back in September, the Nokia N97 Mini was originally expected to hit the market sometime last October. That obviously didn’t happen, but at least it still made in time for the Christmas shopping rush.

The Nokia N97 Mini comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel autofocus camera complemented by Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS, 8GB internal memory, and a full QWERTY slide-out keypad. With the exception of the smaller form factor, display and internal memory, the N97 Mini is almost exactly the same as the N97 in terms of design and features as well.
Amazon is selling the Nokia N97 Mini fresh and unlocked for $479.99 complete with free shipping. We’re not quite sure if this Nokia touchscreen QWERTY slider will become available locally in Canada, but it’s heftier twin brother, the Nokia N97, is currently rumored to be coming to the country and will be an exclusive device to Bell.
