Apart from the iPhone 3G S, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is another phone that the three major cellphone carriers in Canada are all offering. The service provided by these Canadian carriers will play a key role, but so will the pricing of their handsets. So, in order to stay competitive, Rogers has lowered the 3-yr contract price of their BlackBerry Bold 9700 by $50 to just $249.99.

Its price on other contract terms, however, remains unchanged. It was just earlier this month when Rogers released the BlackBerry Bold 9700 to the awaiting public making those patient enough to let a couple of weeks go by fortunate to get it at a much more affordable price. Incidentally, Telus is also offering the BlackBerry Bold 9700 at the same 3-yr contract price which may have played a crucial role in influencing Rogers to lower theirs. Bell, for their part, s still selling the BlackBerry Bold 9700 for $279.95 on similar contract terms has also lowered their BlackBerry Bold 9700 offering to an equally enticing price of just $249.95.
So, is the new 3-yr contract price of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 enough to convince you to sign-up with Rogers or you’d still rather get it from the other carriers? You can read more about the Rogers BlackBerry Bold 9700 by heading on over here.
