I guess the previous report the Motorola Milestone will be announced in the coming days wasn’t that accurate as Telus’ first Android phone has just been formally introduced to the public by Motorola.
The Motorola Milestone, as you can tell by its looks alone, is the identical GSM twin of the Verizon Motorola Droid which launched last month. It still sports a 3.7-inch 16:9 ratio widescreen touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with 24fps video capture capabilities, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Android 2.0 as its OS, and ships with a 16GB microSD card. However, unlike its US counterpart, the Milestone will feature multi-touch capabilities, and being that it is a GSM phone, is fully compatible with Telus’ new HSPA+ network.
