Confirming our previous report, Rogers has just added the LG Eve to their Android-based collection of phones.
The LG Eve is the LG’s first Android phone which boasts of a 3-inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 7.2Mbps HSPA connectivity, a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard and ships with a free 2GB microSD as part of the package. That’s all well and good, but its main selling point is its new Social Networks Manager app which helps promote the Eve as the “ultimate smartphone for social media enthusiasts.” It’s basically an aggregate for Facebook, Twitter and Bebo, and can be likened to the MotoBlur, Sony Ericsson’s Timescape, and Palm’s Synergy app. For the full press release, you can check it out here.
The LG Eve is exclusive to Rogers and is retailing for $49.99 on a 3-yr contract, $299.99 on a 2-yr contract, and $349.99 on a single year/monthly basis. The outright purchase price is $399.99. The LG Eve is not by any means a head-turner in terms of specs or looks, but at $49.99, this is definitely a top pick for those working on a limited budget and want to hop on-board the Android bandwagon.

do not get this phone freeze up all the time this is my second replacement in 2 months and im suspost to keep this for 3 yrs ….ya right .stay away from the touch screeens trust me!

The LG Eve is the worst phone EVER MADE. Slow, Freezing, Crashing, hundreds of errors, I have never been more frustrated with a cell phone. Even simple tasks like hanging up a call or dialing a number are extremely difficult with this phone. The keyboard is terrible and yes, the spacebar never works. Do NOT waste your money on this joke. The engineers should be shot by firing squad.
dont get this phone, continually locks up with a password and you have to send it away with a charge $$$$ to get it unlocked.. how stupid is that!!!!!!!!

This is the worst phone I’ve ever had. Do not buy it whatever happens. The space bar works 1 in 3 times and the touch screen is insensitive and can sometimes be a centimetre or two away from where your touching. Like when i try to turn on look at my notifications it clicks bluetooth on and i have to wait while it loads. Shit fuck cunt i hate this phone
