Yup, that’s right. Bell is now taking video calling to the next level by offering it as an integrated service through Facebook, a first in North America. One simply has to install the free Bell Video Call app in Facebook to allow their contacts to reach them via video call just as long as they have a webcam at their disposal. Since this is all being done over the internet, it won’t incur any additional charges and opens up a whole new world of possibilities especially for friends and relatives living outside the country who wish to keep in touch. So, how can one take advantage of this new Facebook video calling service? You first need to search and install the free Bell Video Call app in Facebook. Follow the easy steps to install and then select which of your friends can see the app. Once you’re done, the only thing your friends need to do is visit your Facebook page and click on the app to place a video call to you.

Of course, you also need to be subscribed to video calling as well to be reached via video call. If you’re planning to get a new phone, the LG Xenon and Samsung Omnia II comes with unlimited video calling. If not, for an additional $5 per month, you can add it to your existing Bell Mobility plan or just upgrade to one that’s bundled with it already.
