Soulful singer Saidah Baba Talibah has just released her latest album wherein she took a more radical approach to music recording – using a mobile phone instead of a conventional studio. Aptly titled The Phone Demos, the collection features songs that will be included in her first full-length album which is scheduled to be released early next year. Due to the limited capabilities of a mobile phone, the end result is a very raw and rustic compilation of songs that’s a throwback to the old analog days of yesteryear.
