Here’s some good news for you environmentally conscious individuals out there. Still remember the Samsung solar-powered Blue Earth phone we talked about way back February? I’m sure you do, and if you’re pretty excited about it, this particular bit of news will be of special interest to you.
Word is the Samsung Blue Earth phone will be released very soon. Sweden will be get first dibs on the eco-friendly device this month with Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and “other European and Asian countries” to follow thereafter. This HSDPA-capable touchscreen phone joins the Reclaim at the forefront of Samsung’s green movement.
Pricing wasn’t made available nor was there mention of a Canadian or US release in the report. This certainly won’t make green advocates here at home jump for joy, but if you’re truly determined to be a proud owner of this solar charging handset, a European order comes highly recommended.
