AT&T has decided to jump the gun on Microsoft’s official roll-out of Windows Mobile 6.5-powered devices as they’re now offering up the HTC Pure (more commonly known as the Touch Diamond2) to interested buyers.

Similar to how the HTC Hero was redesigned specifically for Sprint, the Touch Diamond2 was renamed and customized to give it a new fresh look for AT&T. Trading in its standard rectangular form factor for a more angular case, the Pure may look like a new HTC touchscreen phone on the outside, but it’s still pretty much the same Touch Diamond2 phone on the inside albeit packing the latest Windows Mobile OS. The HTC Pure is retailing for $149.99 on a 2-year contract after a $50 rebate.
AT&T has also officially announced the Windows Mobile 6.5-powered Tilt 2, more popularly known as the Touch Pro2. While its name may have been changed, its exterior didn’t go under the knife like the Pure. Expected to hit the market pretty soon, the HTC Tilt 2 will have a $299 sticker with 2-year contracts.
