The PhoneEasy 515 may be a basic handset, but it's also one that's been nicely tailored to its target market. Doro has obviously spent a lot of time trying to make the phone as easy and hassle free to use, while adding in some useful features like the ICE contacts screen and the Assistance button on the rear. This attention to detail has paid off, as the 515 is definitely one of the better phones on the market that's aimed at seniors.

Unlike a lot of handsets aimed at seniors, the Doro PhoneEasy 612 is more than just a very basic mobile phone. Instead this handset has been properly crafted from the ground up to make it as easy as possible to use. Its menu system is very straight forward, the keypad is big and roomy and there are some good features such as the emergency assistance button on the rear. As such, we think it's a good choice for those who, for one reason or another, just can’t get on with many of today's more advanced mobile phones.

The Doro PhoneEasy 410gsm is a basic, easy-to-use phone with an excellent form factor. It is both stylish and well-built. It has all the basic functionality needed in a cell phone and also has the ability to do SMS and MMS and to attach to Bluetooth headphones. It even has an FM radio.

With hearing-aid compatibility, a large easy-to-see keypad, excellent volume, and an AARP discount, it is perfect for seniors. With its Spell Support, grandma and grandpa will even be able to text the grandkids.

Actually, even younger users who are new to cell phones or users who just want to “keep it simple” will find this phone attractive. The price is certainly attractive and many who only use the cell phone occasionally will find the Consumer Cellular no-contract rates enticing.

Anyone looking for a substantial cell phone that is easy-to-use and easy-to-see will want to give the PhoneEasy 410gsm a look.
