Asus MeMO Pad Smart 10 Know Your Mobile
The Asus MeMo Pad 10 has nothing in its locker to make you sit up and take notice and for a little less or more outlay
Asus MeMO Pad Smart 10

Given the price the Memo Pad Smart 10 retails at you can't really expect it to move mountains. So the question here is: are you getting good value for money?Sort of – but also, not really. You see the MeMo Pad's retail price isn't all that low in context to other tablets of similar spec, which... More

Asus Fonepad Fone Arena
Offers everything you need and a little bit more at a competitive price tag
Asus Fonepad

The Asus Fonepad offers everything you need and a little bit more at a competitive price tag. It has good build, offers 3G with voice calling and also comes with a micro SD expansion slot that is not present in the Nexus 7. If you don’t want to hold a large table to your ear, you can always get... More

The Asus MeMO Pad ME172V isn't going to knock out any of the flagship small-screen tablets out there, but it's not meant to. At £129 it’s a more affordable Android option, and it's from a reputable tablet maker. The MeMO Pad isn't for gamers or power users, but it offers a solid experience... More

Asus MeMO Pad Android Community
Don't buy this tablet
Asus MeMO Pad

Phil Nickinson from Android Community ( 19 days ago )

There's a fine line between a quality, low-cost tablet and an underpowered, low-resolution tablet that happens to run Android and also doesn't cost all that much money. And that line, we've discovered, is about $50. It's not often that we pick up a new device -- and quickly want to put it down again.... More

Asus Fonepad Android Authority
A decent tablet with 3G that can actually take phone calls
Asus Fonepad

Joshua Vergara from Android Authority ( 22 days ago )

We can’t recommend the Fonepad for everyone. The phone feature is interesting, but we suspect that only a fraction of users will actually use it. The device lacks the portability that we expect from a primary communication device, and using it alongside a phone implies either shelling out for a... More

Asus Fonepad Pocketnow
An excellent choice offering the best of both worlds: phones and tablets

If you are not in the target audience for the Fonepad (namely those who don’t want to carry a phone for calls alongside a tablet for work) then the ASUS tablet will be less appealing. It is, however, a cheap Android tablet you’ll enjoy most of the time, if you are light-to-moderate as far... More

Asus Fonepad Know Your Mobile
A really fantastic budget tablet offering let down by a few key problems
Asus Fonepad

We feel quite mixed about the FonePad. We really like the design and the price point is attractive for a 16GB model with microSD capability and 3G connectivity. The display is generally quite good, though it has its limitations. Performance is reasonable for the price, but nowhere near as competent... More

Asus VivoTab Smart What Hi-Fi
The VivoTab looks like a pretty good deal
Asus VivoTab Smart

KobMon from What Hi-Fi ( 28 days ago )

Light and easy to hold with comfortable curved edges, the VivoTab doesn’t match the Microsoft Surface for build quality, but otherwise it offers more storage and the full version of the Windows OS for the same price. Add its excellent music and movie skills and the VivoTab looks like a pretty good... More

Asus PadFone 2 ITProPortal
A great idea, and one that’s mostly well-executed
Asus PadFone 2

Stuart Andrews from ITProPortal ( about 1 month ago )

The Padfone 2 is a great idea, and one that’s mostly well-executed. There are definite advantages to having phone and tablet share a single set of apps and the same storage space, and – in theory – it makes sense not to double up on processing power, storage and cameras with discrete... More

Asus MeMO Pad PhoneArena
It might end up being thrown across the room due to frustration
Asus MeMO Pad

Don’t let its $150 cost fool you, just because it fulfills that age old adage of “you get what you pay for.” Sure it’s cheap, but there’s good reason for that. Naturally, its outdated specs and low-res display make it extremely obviously, but its molasses slow performance... More

because I couldn't call out or answer a call without it ending the call on its own. Took it back to the store since I couldn't call or receive calls on it and they replaced it with a new one. I was thrilled that I could call out and receive, except I was shocked to find that now, I had no... More
