It's now been an hour, 4 customer service representatives and I'm still no closer to changing my phone plan.  As soon as someone gets back on the phone, I'm cancelling all four of the phones.

I have no service where I live and have been a costumer for about 4 to 5 years about 2 years ago a tower went up so I called them and ask why I didn't have service seens how this new tower came up across the road. So I called they said they didn't have access to it yet but within the next year . Perfect I thought so I renewed my contract to find out just a few days ago that virgin will never have access to that tower ... Thanks virgin as you have lied to me and now I'm into a new contract for 2 years ...... oh and also kept telling me it was my phone so I have paid out old contract to get new phones and nothing changed. My daughter is with Rogers and has FULL service . I would never recommend virgin to anyone .

They stole money from me. I've spent hours on customer service and they acted nice and acted like they fixed the problems, but they did not. I had a $35 month plan which I paid for. They stole money from me. I've spent hours on customer service and they acted nice and acted like they fixed the problems, but they did not. I had a $35 month plan which I paid for. It was never activated. Instead the company would charge me 40 cents per minute that I used the phone. They had been doing this for months. They were charging me about $70 per month for all the charges, and I was using less than 30 minutes of talk and almost no text. I called them to fix this on more than one occasion. The last time I called them they claimed it was fixed and that they would call me back in 30 minutes to confirm everything with me. Within 10 minutes of hanging up I was given a new $35 charge and I never received the call. They also sent me a text telling me the plan was activated, but I made a call to test it out and I had money taken out of my account proving that they still hadn't activated the account.

Unlocking phone

Know all the carriers have the $50 + tx fee for unlocking your phone but resent paying Virgin Mobile this when only travelling in Europe for 2 weeks. Other choice is a $60 roaming package, money grab!!

I have been a loyal Virgin Mobile customer for over 3 years now. I wanted to unlock my virgin mobile I-phone 5S. The charge was supposed to be $57.50. I have been a loyal Virgin Mobile customer for over 3 years now. I wanted to unlock my virgin mobile I-phone 5S. The charge was supposed to be $57.50. I called the customer service number and gave them my credit card number. Big Mistake! The agent at the other end charged an amount and unlocked my phone. I check my credit card charge and see that I was charged $5,750!!! I immediately called the customer service line and informed them they had mischarged me by a huge amount. I requested them to immediately reverse the payment and charge the correct amount. The mistake was on their end and expected them to take ownership of their mistake and rectify it. But they refused to reverse the payment saying it was against company policy to reverse a big amount and that they would not be able to credit my account. I am by no means a rich person that can afford to blow away $5,700 for a mistake made by Virgin Mobile. I need money to pay my bills, food, grocery, utilities etc from my credit card. They incessantly replied that they would only be able to pay me the remaining amount by cheque after 15 days!! How ridiculous can it be? I pay by credit card and they refuse to correct their mistake and credit me back electronically and want to pay me by cheque that too after 10-15 days!! That is not only unprofessional but also highly unethical. Now they are sitting on top of my money that they have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO EARN refuse to pay me back right away. $5,750 is not a small amount not just for a person of modest means like myself, but even for high earning professionals. I feel cheated and taken advantage of by Virgin. I called them multiple times to speak with the manager but I would just be allowed to speak to the front line agent who would be adamant that the mistake cannot be corrected. I feel taken advantage of and tossed out like garbage. I do not know what to do and how to resolve the issue. On top of that, they put a credit memo on my account charging me for the amount I we them for the last month WITHOUT my consent. Now I have a credit of $5,600 sitting on my Virgin Mobile bill and a credit card charge of $5750 on my bank statement. I am leaving Canada in 3 days and needed to pay off my tab. This has been a horrifying experience. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND VIGIN MOBILE TO ANYONE!!

I was appalled at the loyalty and asked to speak to a manager because the gentlemen on the phone was extremely unpleasant. I said once I sign another contract with another company I will terminate my contract with virgin. the gentlemen told me to go ahead. I then spoke to a supervisor who told me the same thing.
