They charge per minute and not per second, which means if you try to dial out and the call fails within the first few seconds, you get charged a minute. The online usage lumps all your usage together, whether it be the unlimited weekend or evening, or day usage and so you have to go through and add it yourself, if you want to keep a usage of minutes log. I had a phone that was defective and it kept cutting off my calls and video tron refused to credit me the minutes that were charged at 1 minute at a time for calls that couldn't go out. I got the phone exchanged and the second phone had a worse problem and so I wanted to cancel my contract but they refused and told me that they'd tack onto my bill the full cost of the freebie phone they had given me ($500.00)--talk about twisting your arm to stay with them (I only had the phone for 1/2 month and six minutes of chargeable time, the other minutes were evening minutes that got charged from me trying to get the phone to work from home. To top it off, I can't get service at home. I used to be with Solo and regret not having stayed with Solo because I had service at home, and anywhere I was (unlike Videotron, which I've had a few places where service is unavailable.) I can't wait for my three year contract to be over so I can go back to Solo!
