So, yes I will take blame for not checking my bill and having trust, but i was getting charged for agreed upon contract for the last 10 months, so when I called in they where only going to credit me one month, bullshit I said and told them thanks for helping me make up my mind that I am moving on after 15 years of loyalty. NOW, they are going to charge me to text to a non-Canadain country. Part way thru my three year contract I inquired to change my contract to one more suitable but it was going to cost me, playing fair not so BYE BYE TELUS!!!

After being a loyal Customer of Telus for over 13 years I recieved a text from Telus today, telling me that they were now going to start charging .40 for texts to the United States. When purchasing my last phone with a 2 year contract which ends December 2013, they stated they are now changing my contract and the Free Text Messaging between Canada and the USA is apparently no longer free. One of the reasons I chose this plan was for the free text messaging between Canada and the USA. We are not allowed to break our contracts without a fee, but since when can they change what we have been offered within a plan in the middle of our contract. They now want an additional 5.00 a month for 100 text messages or 10.00 for unlimited text messaging. I will be looking for a new service provider when my contract is up, does anyone have any referrals on a better cell phone company to be working with..

I once needed long distance minutes for a month, the rep I talked to on the phone gave me 100 minutes for free! great coverage even in small towns. 3 year contract is such a pain though, almost done and I ain't coming back, until maybe i'm filthy rich

Telus Mobility is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Their service is sub-par and their products and services are over-priced.
BEWARE. Their services will eat up your paycheque and you will be left with nothing but a bad-taste in your mouth. Never will I deal with this disgusting company... More

I'm really glad to be gone from telus, The customer support was always helpful, unfortunately their product wasn't anything of value. Only attempt at Retention was to pay a lot more for barely anthing more. I hardly got anything for the price was paying ($50/month, 200 minutes local, 100mb data), actually became cheaper to use a payphone for local calling with all the overage fees, usually paying between $60-80 per month. I don't believe Mobile phones should be a small investment, which is something almost unique to North America, Since I have used mobile phones overseas. Been with WIND for a few months, I pay roughly $20 less and get everything I want, "unlimited internet" (of which I only use about 3 gigs) and hardly any problems in WIND Home zones. Glad I made the switch, everyone I know is in the process of or will be making the Switch as well.

Just a little scam on their part to get more money. And after the whole runaround to get it sorted out, a few days later they sold my new cell phone number to a telemarketer.(they're the only ones who know it) A number I have had less than a month. WORST customer service/company I have ever had to deal with.

Telus is incapable of providing any kind of service. Even poor service would be a high rating for them. When I moved over a year ago, they did and continue to skew up everything they do. I have cancelled my cell phone and see no option other than to cancel my phone phone and internet. I am to this day unable to collect and use my email on both my mail programs and their webmail. They tell me they know there are problems and tell me it is still going to be another couple of months before it is fixed. I have been hearing this for the last year so why would I believe it ever will be working. They claimed on their Facebook page that they wanted to hear from customers, but I received a phone call from their "Executive Branch" warning me about further negative posts. They have now blocked me both from their Facebook and sending them messages. Guess they really don;t want to hear about it.
