Battery Woes

I bought my Samsung 320 at the kiosk in Seven Oaks Mall in
Abbotsford.
After 6 weeks, my battery wouldn't hold a charge. When I took it back to the kiosk, I was told that there was nothing they could do and that I would have to apply for a "repair kit" to send it away for repair. When I told them that I needed my phone and couldn't send it away for an unknown amount of time, they said again said that because I had bought it more than 30 days ago, that sending it away was the only thing I could do. When I asked why a six week old battery should go dead unless it was faulty, I was told that "it was just my bad luck".
I have really been pleased with the way my Virgin phone works, "online", but am absolutely disgusted with the attitude and "service" provided to me at the Seven Oaks kiosk. Now, I am stuck with a six week-old cellphone that won't work because of a faulty battery.
