Cheap plans, cheap phones, cheap service.

I have been with Koodo since May, 2009 wih the LG Shine. Overall, I like the convenience of having control of your account online, free plan changes and checking minutes.
Their plans are cheap, but I notice that every month something in their system is down, whether it's their data/ web browser, or their site, or a text messaging outage, or their customer service actually closes down during OPEN HOURS, because so many customers are calling, their calling queue doesn't have enough slots or memory, or workers to process all the calls. They apologize for the inconvenience and tell you to call back later, AFTER going through 5 minutes of system prompts.
I have a feeling that Telus runs Koodo as a discounted carrier with reconditioned phones.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind having a bill that's HALF of what I had with Bell each month, but their systems are really unreliable and getting through to a human being with Koodo can sometimes be hectic.
I have my eye on Fido, their plans almost compare to Koodo's.
