Nightmare customer service

Wow.

I cannot even begin to relay the beyond indifferent, incompetent serve I have received from wind mobile this past week. I will just outline the highlights.

Switched to win from Rogers in December of 2010. I made the switch because I really just became too frustrated with the pathetic customer service at Rogers, and to save a few bucks. After today I am very seriously considering going back...might as well pay a small premium and enjoy the iPhone.

Bought a Motorola phone from wind for 450+, when I signed up...it has never been a good phone and at just over a year old is no longer even functional. Seeing that wind now has the Galaxy Nexus, I decided it would be a good replacement. Went to me nearest wind retail store at Dundas Square in Toronto one week ago and was informed that they were out of stock, my name and number were left on a wait list, was told a shipment was expected this past Tuesday. Having not heard I have made repeated attempts to call this store this week...the NEVER answer calls...the phone just rings and connects to a voicemail which cannot take messages.

This morning I decided to call other retail locations here in Toronto in the hope that I could find this phone. After calling at least 6 Wind stores...no answer anywhere, I finally got a person on the phone at Queens Quay. Was informed that yes they did have the Galaxy phone in stock...BUT...they would not sell me one because I am an existing customer...they will only sell these to "new subscribers". Why o why did I bother leaving Rogers? I explained to the wind associate that I was desperately in need of a new phone...sorry ...corporate policy!

Next I attempted to order the phone from the wind website...that does not work.
Then called a customer service rep...they don't work either. Inept and indifferent.

During this 30 minute conversation she repeatedly tried to get rid of me by insisting I either visit a store or order the phone from the website. She repeatedly informed me that she could not place the order because of my credit card...which is patently untrue as wind charged my visa $676 3 times, then put credit through. Then she tried to tell me that the phone was in short supply and could only be ordered online...on and on...no resolution. Eventually was told a supervisor would call, that was about 2 hours ago.

If you are considering Wind
Do not bother.
