I've had Koodo for a few months now, and it's my first actual phone. First bill I've paid on my own, and all that stuff. I do have to admit, they have decent prices and they are fairly consistent with billing me properly. But the fact that Call Display isn't included in plans? Pretty stupid, if you ask me, and I have to pay an extra six dollars to have it added on.
My service has always been decent. Maybe one or two dropped calls, but that's understandable. My bedroom is in the basement, so I'm rather pleased with the service I get down here.
My biggest beef with the company is the texting. 98% of the reason I own my phone is so that I can text. That's the main reason I use it for. And what's the point of having a phone if the main reason I have it, isn't working half the time?
And for the record, an earlier reviewer said something about being able to live a day without texts. Yes, I can live a day without text messaging, but when 35 dollars a month is coming out of MY pocket, I damned well expect them to deliver their side of the deal. Why pay for something if I don't get it?
Overall though, it is a pretty decent company. If you can handle the texting issues, it would be a decent carrier to go with.
