Get a second line, make sure contract is on primary number.

Rogers is holding my phone number hostage for $240. I have to cancel my phone number regardless of the fact they put the Sim card in my new phone. Even if I take my phone number to another carrier which is my right, I still have to pay $240 to cancel the secondary line. Brilliant.
Also, working in Abbotsford coverage is apparently US only and I am constantly being charged for text messages informing me "Welcome to the US". No help there.
Customer service is a waste of time. Don't even bother calling them. Supervisors won't do any better.
