Work very well. They are a rogers reseller, so if rogers work, petro canada work.
However... the french support line is almost inexistant, understaffed. 2.5 hours on the french queue... took another phone, called the english queue.. 7 mins later it was fixed (called to disable the voicemail). They need to upgrade the service support phones however, their micro is s***** as hell.
To add airtime, get a card at any petro canada service station, then dial *888#the pin number on the paper* then talk. that's it, star, 888, pound, nip, star.

For the data, do not forget to change the APN
As I said, the support staff... their phone have issues, you have issues to hear them. But it wasn't much of an issue for me, repeat a few times, and it get done. Now, when will I have to call again? probably never! So who care.
For the activation process, you need your phone IMEI number, should be somewhere behind the battery and also in one of the menu, and accessible via some options elsewhere too.
Remember, you need a petro canada phone OR an unlocked GSM phone.
