This company won't last, I can't believe they're legally allowed to be this deceitful. I'm too angry to document what they just did to me.

I'm not a heavy cellphone user. Mostly for security, convenience & occasional travel. I don't subscribe to a monthly plan. Their Anytime plan is great for me. I just top up w/$100 every year. Unused balance carries over when I top up. If my balance is too high, I just text some money to charity. They are the best company because they don't charge for so many things. Incoming texts are free, as is voice-mail... Outgoing texts are just 15 cents, outside N. America 20 cents. Phone calls 20 cents per minute. Long-distance just 24 cents per minute if you use a PC prepaid long-distance card. Just bought my husband a great HTC smartphone for $49 w/PC Mobile (including $10 bonus airtime). He's delighted. I've shopped around online for a better service in Canada, especially here on the NW coast of BC. There just isn't 1.

I am not yet a customer of PC Mobile; I am simply trying to become one.
However, after my experience with their customer service (via telephone), I am starting to question the wisdom of this decision.
Their website is currently advertising an attractive sale price for one of their phones, but according to customer service this phone is not actually available in *any* of their stores. I questioned why, if the phone is not available for purchase, PC would continue to advertise the sale price. The rep's response was to just laugh.
I have asked to speak to a supervisor on 3 occasions, and have been refused all 3 times. If this is what they do to attract potential customers, I would hate to see how they treat their existing customers that they have already reeled in.
At this point, I would not recommend this service to anyone.

I just activated my phone and SIM card with PC mobile but I have not added any air time yet. For some reason I have a .03 cent balance without paying for the $15 per month prepaid plain I was thinking of getting. (It was too late at night and they were closed for a new account setup).

So for now I have been using FREE incoming and outgoing Text messaging and connecting to WiFi to do things like check the weather forcast or lookup an address on Google Maps.

Pretty good for a free plan, so far.

A little hesitant about there $15 per month plan after all I have read. Does anyone know if you can use a PC Mobility phone for a Bell PrePaid plan?? I know you can do it the other way round.

PC Mobility has a new PrePaid deal out - $100 for a year (365 days). That works out to $8.33 per month. But it probably has that pesky to and from PC phones only for the voice calls like the $15 and $25 per month deals.

I may still give them a try as I do not plan on using this phone for that many phone calls.

The best part was the sale price of the phone I bought from Superstore. A $139.00 smartphone for only $49.00 (an HTC Desire). I love it!

I've been a pc mobile customer for 3 years. I have two phones with them. Lately they've been over charging me, messing up my plan, etc. I've had to call them 4 times in the last 5 days because its one thing after another and each person does something differently which results in more problems. The way they do business is out dated and doesn't function well. I don't see why they can't send email statements either.

Check your credit card statements...you might be surprised.

I got charged $10 for internet access on my pre-paid cell phone (which originally was $5 and changed without any notification to me ie text call mail) when my account was already in the negative, thing is, the internet does not work when you are in the negative, so how can you charge for a service and then not provide it? I was pretty upset and called to complain about it after I had topped up my phone and it happened again!! The guy who helped me told me that they did not do that, and finally I lost my patience and told him I have a problem with what you are saying because you are lying to me, and this is not the first time it has happened. I let it go the first time because I am a busy person and thought hey it's only $5, but not only did it double, it put me in the negative again and the internet did not work on it either! I had to connect via wifi to check my account status, which was negative. Also the phones themselves are garbage, mine constantly turns itself off and does not send text messages the first time always, many many failed attempts, it's a network thing not the phone because my friend has the same problem with his phone, different model.

Now there are some positives, I don't get many dropped calls, and the clarity of the calls are good. The 20 cents a minute is not horrible but you can find cheaper for sure. I would not recommend anyone go with this service provider, find somebody worthwhile, I wish I could get back my $100 I spent on the phone but it is too late.

I had called at the beginning of the month and told you guys to cancel my credit card payment and all my options, I only wanted the pay as you go plan. You took my credit card payment even though I told you not too. I called to get my money back, and the answer I get is it takes 3 to 4 weeks before it will go back on my credit card. What is that all about? You took the money without my authorization and I have to wait a month before I get my money back. I'm very angry at the moment, something better be done ASAP or else I'm cancelling my 2 phones. My name is Liette Gionet.

I just found out that we pay 35 cents a minute not 20 for any call that are not to a pc phone. And I read up on the packages that they have and I can not find anything telling you that it is going to cost you more. The only place it says anything about 35 cents is for long distance. But don't be deceived, long distance will cost you 70 cents a minute. I have been using pc for 2 years and did like it. but now I want to go to a different company. And I want to tell everyone that I know what PC is doing.

The phone i bought was cheap, but when i called in the woman didnt seem too knowlageable on what she can do in terms of activation. i talked to two different Reps and neither of them spoke understandable english and finally i was transferred to some guy who still couldnt help me (but atleast he spoke english) and then said he'd transfer me one more time to someone who could help me and i was left on the line for 20 mins with zero help.
would not reccomend to anyone.
will never use again.
the only reason i rated a 3 is because there is an internet activation option. (which still takes forever)
