Signed up for a two year contract on May 2nd, was told my phone would be at my door by May 6th. By May 15th I had yet to receive the phone. After two phone calls to CS, I was told the order had only been processed on May 13th, and it would take 2-6 WEEKS to get the phone!?
I told them to cancel the order, to which I was told they could not because I didn't have a phone number, and they couldn't cancel it until I recieved and set up my phone. At this point I asked to speak to a manager. After an hour on hold, I was told I could not speak to a manager, but the cancellation had been approved.
On May 16th, I was charged via Visa, 34$ for the phone I had cancelled. Called them back on the 17th, to ask why I was charged for a phone I will never recieve, after waiting another hour on hold, I was told I should expect a refund within 3-5 business days. I asked them to email me confirmation to which I was told they could not send emails...
It is now May 31st, no refund has been issued. Further, upon calling them I was informed that the refund was processed on the 29th of May, so it should take 3-5 business days to get that taken care of. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told the phones weren't working properly, and they couldn't reach a manager. I said I would wait until they could. An hour later, i was hung up on.
Surprisingly, I did get a call back, from someone who said they were a manager. After another 45mins, and story upon story, she finally told me a credit could not be applied because there was no phone number tied to the account. She suggested I dispute the payment with Visa.
After 5mins on the phone with Visa, they opened a claim, filed a dispute, and I should be getting the refund that Fido owed me, but claimed to not be able to pay back to me, for a product I never recieved. Certainly it was not an amount for service; that was absolutely never received!
