This phone has been a great first phone! It's cheap and it runs very well! All though, It only carries 130 mb of internal space and has 2gigs. Furthermore, it's great for surfing the internet and music! Oh ya, that reminds me, I love that I could get Siren Music and all the songs are free to... More

Applications will crash more often, it won,t call the person that i selected, or sometimes won't call at all! I got two of these; i had to replace the first one after three months because the speaker was broken. Sadly, the second was as bad as the first one. i can't wait until i have enought money to buy a decent phone!

Public Mobile had a great little promotion that had this phone selling for $79CAD. You can currently have it for $59CAD. I had never had a smartphone before and when I looked at the specs, this was a far better deal for me than the UMX MAX. Sure it only has 130MB internal storage and that can cause problems but there is a way around it. I rooted the phone and put on the Voltron Gingerbread build designed specifically for this phone. After that, it had plenty of space and with my 32GB MicroSD Card I had my entire music collection on it as well as a couple of movies. It does do everything that an Android phone is supposed to do like functioning as a GPS navigator, looking up google maps, web browsing and oh yeah. it's a great voice phone too. The biggest flaw to this phone is the ARMv6 processor. It doesn't and cannot support flash properly. Mind you, YouTube uses HTML5 which this phone supports just fine. I ended up upgrading to the ZTE N860 Warp because Public Mobile gave me an offer I just couldn't refuse but I am keeping my N762 as a backup because I really think that this phone is a fantastic device at a fantastic price point. If you've never used a smartphone before and want to try one out, I highly recommend it because this little gem will impress you at a lower cost than most standard phones. That way, if you decide that a smartphone is a little too "smart" for you (I mean complicated), then you haven't really lost much. The relatively barebones version of Android is very easy to learn and will prepare you if ever you decide to upgrade to something with more on it.
