A capable but cheap touchscreen slider

The Seek is a lot of phone for only $20 (albeit after a rebate). The built-in social media, messaging, em-ail, and Internet applications are all designed well for the tiny profile. If you need a simple, affordable Sprint phone that has a few key advanced capabilities, the Seek is a great choice; it's... More

The Seek is a good first phone

The Samsung Seek is a fine device for what it is.  It has some drawbacks such as a subpar music player and no navigation, but this phone is aimed at a market that likely isn’t driving yet and already owns an iPod.  It is a much better phone than the similarly-equipped LG Remarq even with... More

Inexpensive QWERTY phone with easy to use interface, full messaging and social networking

Tong Zhang from Mobile Tech Review ( about 1 year ago )

6/10

Today’s young mobile phone users center their needs on messaging and social networking, and an inexpensive QWERTY phone with an easy to use interface and full messaging and social networking is a good place to start. If you don’t need a smartphone or multimedia services tied to 3G, the Samsung... More

Cnet
A serviceable midrange messaging touch-screen phone

Nicole Lee from Cnet ( about 1 year ago )

7/10

Even though we typically associate the touch-screen interface with smartphones and high-end feature phones, there are midrange devices that offer it as well. Take the Samsung Seek from Sprint, for example. Billed as a simple messaging phone with a social networking bent, the Seek comes with a decent... More

A good buy for messaging mavens on a budget, but it's behind the curve as a media and Web phone

from PC Magazine ( about 1 year ago )

In short, the Seek isn't all that powerful, but it offers a good mix of standard features at a low price. The LG Rumor Touch, our current Editors' Choice on Sprint, also has a subpar Web browser, and it lacks an IM client. But the Rumor Touch features a larger 3-inch touch screen, a larger five-row keyboard,... More

ENTRO is completely UNRELIABLE - A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

I bought this as a prepaid phone for my teenage daughter. I have been a strong believer in Samsung products, having had nothing but great experiences with other Samsung phones over the past 7 years.

This phone however, began acting up within just a couple months of purchase. It would take about 10... More

I just upgraded to this phone the other day and I love it. No problems as of yet. Very user friendly compared to my other phone.
Internet is easy to read on it and it's feature packed. Even voice recognition.
For an inexpensive phone, this one delivers.
Don't know what all the complaining... More

Defective Slide Mechansim

I would avoid this phone at all costs. The slide mechanism is very poorly manufactured, and eventually causes a short that results in the screen blanking out. I had this phone repaired once a month ago, and it has again failed. The phone is less than a year old.

Give this phone a miss.

I have been using this phone for about year, have had no problems with it, and am happy with it. I'd recommend it. It may not be an iPhone, but it is good value for price. And I like PC mobile.
