Okay so I'm going to start off talking about how I had my Samsung M510 (AMAZING PHONE) for 2 years from Bell and today I took it to get repairs. So then they gave me a Samsung M300 for a replacement and I knew right away it'd be the worst phone ever. Somebody I knew had it and it sucks!
I... More

I got mine for free from Sprint as a loyalty reward, and now I am using it as my normal phone is lost->stolen and my new-to-me replacement phone has not shipped in yet.

Sprint used to include the Phone as Modem feature in the data plan (Power Vision), but then they devalued the plan by making PAM... More

I think I paid about $30 with a ridiculously long contract for this phone, b/c I didn't need a lot of features and it was one of the cheap ones. As others have said, don't shave a couple of years off of your life expectancy just to get a simple cheap phone.

I have dealt with the same thing... More

When my phone died, i bought the cheapest phone I could buy to ride out the remainder of my contract with Bell. I have experienced very similar glitches as one of the posters mentioned. Text messaging is a HUGE problem for me, as the T9 will often spell out randoms things that aren't even words!... More

This is a very basic, no-frills phone. It is thin, shiny black flip phone that is not that exciting. if you just want a phone for calling and texting, this will do. it is not loaded with features but i haven't found any problems with it. never drops calls, decent reception, and the texts arrive... More

Ok, I guess you get what you pay for ($0 phone, of course), but this phone takes 'cheap' way too far. My largest complaint was best expressed by Dylan and Alex123: do not get this phone if you text often. It will freeze constantly requiring a battery removal, pushing 'back' more than... More

Pro: Simple, basic, does what an infrequent user would want, cheaply.

Con: Usually sold with a 3 year, locked in plan, for "free", ( if paying typically $30 US a month for 3 years = $1000 + service charges and fees etc. is " FREE" )and has been crippled deliberately so that most... More

I've had this phone since June 2nd 2008 with a 1-year contract.
And I'll have to say I'm very satisfied with the service as i had Free nights and weekends with unlimited messaging and some other features for only 25$

I bought this to replace an older, non-bluetooth phone whose battery was packing it in (new battery for AudioVox 8615 = cost of the M300)

At first, I was OK with it, but having had it for a little under a year, I am now having severe buyer's remorse.

I neither love nor hate the Samsung M300. It is replacing an 8 year Samsung, model unknown. I left Bell and their contracts to try pay as you go with Presidents Choice.
I have one serious complaint that is probably going to necessitate the return of the phone. The phone speaker volume is just too low.... More
