The samsung sgh-a237 is a phone that is slim and lightweight. It does not have many features but it has all the ones you need. When you buy it the box comes with the charger,phone, battery, and 2 user manuals one in spanish and one in english.

We changed service from t-mobile to at&t got the phone freebie and HATED it! The closed screen display doesn't. Blank screen! Can't see what time it is, how many bars you have, missed call, nada! Went to an at&t store, customer service said the new at&t phones are ALL that way.... More

(1) Tiny screen... which I could live with if it weren't for the other flaws.

(2) Tiny keys that makes it extremely difficult to navigate through the deeply nested and confusing menus.

My Moto V180 was going out so I trundled over to AT&T store for a phone upgrade. The most basic model they had was this one and I got it for only $18.00 fee.

Voice quality is quite good. Better than the Moto phone and I have no more static when I talk.

This phone often puts a call immediately in to voice mail without even ringing. Frustrating.
Difficult to open.
