ive dropped it 6 stories onto concrete, dropped it getting out of my truck and it sat in a puddle for 2 hours, and drove over it with a bobcat and it will not quit. best phone ever

This is supposed to be a rugged unit. The hinge broke after 2 months of normal use. No wonder, close inspection revealed hinges are made of plastic.

My husband has had this phone going on 2 years. He beats his phones up more than any person I know. For example: we got the same phone at the same time at one point, and his died out on him a full year before mine started having issues.

This phone may be rugged but we miss so many calls because we can't hear the ringer. We have it turned all the way up to 7, the highest it will go and the ringer is still very very low. Also we turn off the vibrate and set it to ring only and that doesn't work - still vibrates with a low ring.

I bought this phone based on the advertising as a rugged work phone. I thought that ment it might have decent volume. This phone is all too quiet for any profession with the slightest background noise.

As with any cell phone, they're designed for certain users. Most people wouldn't care for a phone like this, but it's perfect for me. I'm pretty hard on phones, and so far this one has held up.
