The Samsung Intensity is a horizontal slider with a distinctive Samsung look. Closed, the Intensity has an attractive, stylized fascia with red accents and large, waved keys on its alphanumeric keypad. The 2.1-inch 176 x 220 resolution display is adequate but not impressive.
When opened, the Intensity reveals a full QWERTY keypad that, while thoughtful in its key placement and design, lack the spaciousness one needs to really rock the keypad. Texting will require some focus, so as not to hit the wrong key, which diminishes the fun factor. However, to Samsung’s credit the keys are sculpted to help compensate for lack of real estate.[...]
The Intensity comes with a 1.3MP camera, sub-par by today’s standards, Mobile Web 2.0, and an updated music player that allows you to choose different skins, including simple view, visualize, album art, and lyrics. Also included is a 2.5mm jack. Ideally you’ll want to listen to music with stereo headphones since the mono-speaker on the back of the phone isn’t very loud.
There have been many horizontal sliders that have come to market, and the Samsung Intensity clearly falls into the lower half in terms of features and overall quality. It’s a decent phone, but if you like this form factor there are sturdier phones with higher-end features available in the same price range.

Upgraded to this POS the other day. The design is terrible. I can't even keep it in my pocket because whenever I lean up against something, the power turns off. And yes, I have the keypad locked. It does it anyway. The unprotected, big-ass screen is easily scratched by anything in which it...
The phone has a solid design to it, light weighted, and VERY nice soft touch buttons. Unlike other phones that had their "cheap, but sturdy buttons." Example Samsung U740.
It is a very simple and straight forward phone to use, do not really need to read the manual as the phone itself IS VERY...
I think that this phone is very good for the price. Nice and small and works great the only think i dont like about it is there is no video recorder and it feels like it might break easy when you slide to keyboard
