If you're on the market for a new smartphone, T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S II is a worthy contender. It performed well in all of my standard tests except for slow performance when using the GPS and included navigation apps.

T-Mobile and Samsung have a winner on their hands with the Galaxy S II. It is as good as the HTC Amaze 4G and gives the iPhone 4S a good run for the money. We can't say that it is light-years ahead of the competition, but it outshines them by a galaxy.
