It's a phone! Didn't need a hand held computer. Makes phone calls. Good enough!

What you get with a free phone

The worst phone I have ever had. It constantly freezes. Usually right after I have to go through it and clear all the cache. Most of the apps appear to be running even if I'm not using them!!!!! I just want to take my Smith and Wesson and blow it away!

I want this phone to die

So disappointing. It makes calls on its own. Never assume that after you've said goodbye and hung up, and clicked off, you won't hear a "hello? hello?" in your pocket a minute later. So disappointing. It makes calls on its own. Never assume that after you've said goodbye and hung up, and clicked off, you won't hear a "hello? hello?" in your pocket a minute later. Sometimes its the person you've just spoken to, sometimes it's someone else in your contacts. It doesn't let you know how many Tracfone minutes you have left, so it just stops in the middle of, say, a phone interview for a job. The voice mail function is designed to gobble up your minutes with long pre-recorded text. And after all of that it consumes more minutes despite what you think you've purchased. Know someone you dislike? Give them this phone for their birthday.

Terrible battery life!

The title says it all. I have never gone a whole day (one day) without the battery freaking out, AND....I have all the power saving stuff on. What a clunker!

I'm completely happy with this phone. @Mad What do you expect from a $99 phone? This is all I can afford and as far as I'm concerned it's great. I'm sure other phones are faster but if you want the latest and greatest you have to pay a lot more. I have dozens of apps installed, have never experienced a freeze up and everything is fairly responsive. Sure some apps take a few seconds to open but again, it's a low-end phone. I refuse to pay ore that $150 for an off-contract phone so if you're budget minded like me give it a try. Buy it at Walmart and if you don't like it they will give you a refund within 15 days if you keep the receipt.

Had the phone for about a month or so now. Horrible battery life. Low features. Slow CPU. Not enough RAM for the way the phone comes stock. I mean... You would think a 3 or so year old Droid 2 wouldnt be anything to a newer phone... but this is a lesser phone than that. I hate it more everyday. I recommend passing this junk up and getting a phone that has a few extra features like a droid phone should. Oh yeah... also, it only supports rev 0 3G... WTF??? I feel like a fool. I'm not but Samsung... you damn well must have thought I was. Good job screwing and fooling soo many people. Would you like to buy my brand new computer? Yeah it has Windows 8, 512mb ram, 500mhz Celeron, and a nice 1GB 5200 RPM hard drive and a 56k modem. But it is brand new. Yeah... it's like that.
