Samsung recently announced the forthcoming SGH-C414, which promises to be a basic, competent flip featuring a 2.2 inch TFT display generating 240 x 320 pixels, a 2.0MP camera, and 50MB of user memory with memory expansion up to 16GBs via a microSD card slot.

The C414 also offers Bluetooth 2.1, a speakerphone and a full suite of basic phone features, including calendar, alarm, etc.

Despite the popularity of up-to-the-minute touchscreen phones, there is still a great number of folks who just need a basic and reliable device, and the Samsung C414 fits the bill.

I like it. I need the simple basic phone, and it is great for that, as well it has the bonus of music player and camera. I haven't yet tried to put music on. I also love that it has a memory card slot, as my old phone did not and the photos are forever stuck on that phone! My one problem with this... More
