Can be, but I hate the screen. This is my 3rd phone with touchscreen, I´m disappointed with this one. Why this Samsung. Pls keep it only with big warning Don´t buy me!!!

The price is right and I like the side-slide QWERTY keyboard. But the touchscreen is not great, the interface is not particularly customizable, and the TouchWiz feature is not useful. Good phone. I bought it for my daughter, who wanted to have a qwerty phone. We like the features offered by the phone.
The only point I don't like about the phone is the date format. Since this is an international phone, the US date format is not available.

This phone shuts itself off for no reason. I will be in the middle of texting and it just powers off. It will also freeze up in the middle of use.
I have seen other reviews and they all say the same thing. I like the touch screen & keyboard, but pick something else.
