I wish I had read the reviews before buying this phone, The guy at the VW store talked me into it because it was "rugged" and my previous phone broke when I dropped it. Verizon had to replace the phone 3 times in the first 4 months; once because it broke apart when I dropped it! The other times it was because the battery would not hold a charge and it does not fit properly in the back of the phone, so it is certainly NOT water resistant. The phone keeps shutting itself off at random times, including at night when I am traveling and wanting to use the alarm feature (almost missed a flight!). The sound sucks. One would think that at $250 retail they could come up with a better product. Don't buy this phone!
