I did a review almost a year ago & I wanted to follow it up.

After having the phone 8 months I started to have problems with the Java. When trying to use an application that used Java, such as a the music player, it would just freeze up. I would have to close the phone push the buttons on the outside and open it again. Or it would freeze bad enough I'd have to I'd have to pull the battery. Sometimes you could try to get the appilcation 3 or 4 times and it would finally work, or you might never get it to work.

After a couple of weeks and a few phone calls I ended up sending it away to be fixed. [This has nothing to do with the phone it's self but while sent away to be fixed my orignal phone was lost and they replaced it with a new one.] This was 2 months ago. So I now have a new LG Reveal. The day I got it I tried to turn on the music player to download new ringers. It's a lil easier to do it through the music store then on the mobile web. Well it was saying I needed to download an upgrade for the music store but it kept telling me it couldn't do it. After many, many calls to Bell I was told that it was a problem with the phone and it needed to be sent away cause of a software issue stopping the music store from working. . . So i have this brand new phone that has to be sent away for repairs? Really?

I decided, No, I've had this phone 3 weeks and you want me to send it away again? I decided that in a year I'll be able to upgrade to another phone and I didn't need the music store really, the player still worked, so I'd just deal.

Well now I'm having the same Java issues that I had back in November. I kept track the other day and it turned off 12 times. In the middle of texting, while on the web, or while it was just sitting there. It's gotten so bad it's kinda to the point where I can't use it.

IN all honesty, I do LOVE this phone. I love all it can do and it's options and I hate to let it go, but it's looking like I'm going to have to move on. I've talked to Bell and they aren't willing to do a thing about it. Suggested I bought a new phone and they could just switch it over, or get a refurbished phone.

Bell is aware of the problems with this phone and keep selling, LG is also aware of the problems with this phone. I'm sure it's easily fixed but I'm not paying to have it fixed every few months out of my own pocket.

Just a heads up to everyone! Hopefully I'm the only one having this problem cause I really and truly do love this phone

Also just another downside of this phone. I've now had this phone almost 3 months and as my past one, the battery sucks. I do a TON of texting [avg over 7000/month], I'm on Twitter & Facebook alot and I usually get up in the morning, take my phone off the charger, about 2pm I'm charging it again and again after supper I'm charging it and when I go to bed between 12am-1am it's dying again and I'm plugging it back in. So if you're a heavy user the battery isn't so gret.
