HTC Tattoo / Reviews

Pro: Sound quality, Android 1.6 OS, HTC Sense, quite good response on screen even though it's a resistive type, snappy, small, battery life is great.

Con: No multitouch, camera is not very good.

I'm a student - and I'm therefore constantly broke, so getting an Android based smartphone for 283€ sounded like to good a deal to miss. I bought my Tattoo 1 month ago, and so far I havent been dissapointed at all! The camera isn't great when light is sparse, but I knew this before I bought the phone. Other than that, the phone is better than I expected - In every way. I use it for E-mailing, sms'ing, talking and webbrowsing every day and the battery still lasts at least 2 days. The smart dictionary embedded in Android is fantastic when writing messages and the soundquality is well above average. I can only recommend this phone to people looking for a fantastic smartphone whilst on a tight budget.
